Principles of Psychology Virtual (and augmented) reality have a number of purposes and uses for recreation such as gaming, education such as workplace training, and even health care such as exposure therapy for certain types of anxiety disorders or PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). You will learn more about all of this throughout the course. For this assignment, consider how virtual (and augmented) reality relate to the basic principles of psychology. If you have an undergraduate intro to psychology textbook, typically any book can help. Look through the table of contents at the different content areas indicated (most intro books have nearly identical sections). Pick three topics, concepts, or theories from anywhere in the introductory material and talk about the connection between the basic principle and what your understanding of Virtuality is all about from the readings (and Discussion 1) for the week.
