You are a specialist with skills and knowledge of business ethics and ethics in business.
The ?“fictitious ?organisation” ?you ?have ?joined ?is ?experiencing ?problems ?in ?finding a balance
between expected business performance and the ethical requirements for the 21st Century.
Using models and theories supporting ?an ?“Internationally ?Acceptable ?Business ?Ideology”, ?
examine the implementation of a new holistic strategy based on the four points below.
NB. It is essential that you answer all 4 parts of the question as each section carries an
individual 25% weighting and that the narrative is based on a combination of professional
commercial and ethical practice.
Question 1
Using ?the ?“Integrative ?Business ?Disciplines” ?discussed ?and ?included ?in ?the ?module, ?develop ?
an ?“Ethical ?Expansion ?Strategy” ?for ?implementation ?in ?your ?company. ?
This should focus on the business growth strategy and how you will ensure the
individual ethical and business elements are utilised and managed within your
organisation.
For implementation in a measurable and sustainable well managed process as part
of the holistic business strategy for your organisation.

Using ?examples ?of ?the ?“Theories ?and ?Models” ?and ?“Best ?Ethical ?Practice ?in ?Business” ?as ?
discussed ?in ?the ?module, ?create ?a ?“Code ?of ?Ethics” ?(COE) which would apply to the
organisation to support the desired outcomes of your case.
Your choice of theory regarding best ethical practice will depend upon your
organisation, its requirements and which theories and models fit best.
This should be supported by a Code of Ethics / Code of Conduct (COE / COC) linked
to the core of your business and its beliefs. This COE should support your business
both internally and externally and again be measurable and sustainable.

Explain ?how ?you ?would ?“Assess ?and ?Measure” ?your ?“Ethical ?Expansion ?Strategy” ?to ?ensure ?
both ?the ?“Ethical ?Goals” ?and ?“Business ?Goals” ?are ?achieved. ?
This could be in terms of results achieved commercially within the business linked to
the organisations original COE/ COC.
Both of these results should have internal and external benchmarks and processes
in place to verify that they are working successfully and be sustainable, with remedial
action mechanisms recognised and in place.

Examine ?the ?“Dilemmas ?and ?Challenges” ?you ?might ?encounter ?and ?highlight ?the ?
“Conditions” ?you ?would ?need ?for ?success ?with ?some ?examples. ?
This aspect should examine the ?“Ethical ?Problem ?Areas” ?your ?business might
encounter in an effort to grow your business profitably and how you should attempt
to accommodate them in terms of your overall desire for an ethical and commercial
business relationship with ALL your stakeholders.
This again should emanate from your COE / COC and link to areas such as an
environmental and or corporate social responsibility programme.
The process for which you would implement and manage both internally and
externally for measurable and sustainable results.

will then be converted against the 70% portion of your coursework.
