This should be written in an essay format, underpinned by a reflective theory and
submitted individually by the student. Each student is expected to reflect on these
three key areas of their report:
1) Group Work Participation and Contribution: key focus should be on the
dynamics of the group, what went well and what did not go well and what each
member of the group has contributed to the report. Here, you will be assessed on your
level of contribution, participation and your effectiveness within the group. You are
required to attach to your appendix your group meeting attendance, participation and
contribution form to your essay.
2) Personal knowledge gained from the group report and future application to their
future career or development. In this category, students should identify and succinctly
explain key points learned from the group report and how this links to their future
career plan or study. Here student is been assessed on ability to clearly demonstrate
knowledge gained from the report and its importance to their future professional
development.
3) What would you do differently base on the report process, group contribution and
report findings? Here, student will be assessed on their ability to reflect on the
learning process, good practices and alternative approaches that you consider may
enhance report performance or greater team effectiveness.
 Please record each meeting using the contact report form found in the
assessment tab on blackboard. This will show your contribution to your
report and the overall attitude of your group partner. Attach this
document to your critical reflective essay.
Note: student is required to use a particular reflective model or academic author to
shape the write up of their reflective essay.
Submission Procedure (Assessment Part 2):
The group report MUST be submitted “ONLINE ONLY” via the available “DMU
BLACKBOARD TURNITIN LINK”. The deadline for the online submission is on the

st of May, 2020 (12.00 Noon)
