assignment task 2 (activity plan attched in the email)
Since students had planned and presented their own plan, this
section in the essay is to introduce the rationale of their plan, and to
illustrate and discuss on how their planned activity from Task 2
could enhance children’s creativity, as well as promote aesthetic in
teaching and learning at early years settings. This section should
reveal student’s understanding of the materials and readings
provided in this course. It should demonstrate your grasp of the
concept and theories of young children’s development in Arts and
Technology apply in different curriculum models
2. (B) Self-reflection (500 words) on the self-planned activity Choose
at least 2 areas for reflection:
1. Learning objectives and or assessment items 2. Design of
activities
3. Lesson preparation
4. Design and use of teaching resources
5. Teaching skills, strategies and effectiveness
6. Sensitivity to children’s individual needs in Arts learning
7. Sensitivity to children’s individual needs in the use of
technology 8. Factors that affect children’s responses and
performance
The reflection should include suggestion(s) on feasible and
appropriate ways to improve the plan or further teaching practice. A
suggestion with a follow-up plan to extend children’s learning
experiences is preferred.
Discussions on the reasons for using technology as a support in
teaching and learning, which has been planned in the submitted
activity, is expected to be included.
