Required:
Review the marketing and promotional campaign of a multinational organisation and
critically evaluate an appreciation of cultural sensitivity for a successful marketing
campaign. The report should cover a detailed study of the following critical areas that
are necessary to launch a successful Marketing Campaign.
• Demonstrate the importance of understanding the reasons for the adoption or
the rejection, of socio-cultural habits in marketing.
• Critical evaluation of appreciating cultural sensitivity in marketing and
promotion.
o Discuss the effectiveness and drawbacks of socio-cultural approaches
such as Ethnocentrism and Polycentrism and provide reasoning
whether the approach chosen by the multinational organisation you are
investigating is appropriate or not.
• Critical evaluation of rules regarding prohibition and permission in advertising
in different countries.
o Discuss the challenges that the multinational organisation you are
investigating would face while complying with the advertising rules and
regulations in different countries.
