SUGGESTED REPORT STRUCTURE
FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions):
1. You must develop your existing enterprise idea. You are permitted to make evidenced
changes to your product and/or service.
2. Include a mitigation / feasibility assessment pertaining to your role and its responsibilities.
3. Continue in your existing business role and responsibility. This will be the focus of your
report. (Note, you will have to consider the whole business idea to do so).
4. You may choose to continue communication with your team in order to support your work.
5. Do not delete the Master SimVenture Validate Business Model Canvas (BMC).
6. You must create your own individual BMC using the software tool SimVenture Validate.
You can copy the already populated sections from the existing Master BMC and develop your
own individual page now… or… at a time that suits all if you are co-working within your preassigned groups.
7. RE: Plagiarism – Include screenshots of your online Business Model Canvas / BMC in your
report, along with your own annotated / summarised insights, relating to your individual role so
as to avoid issues around plagiarism. Some sections may only be relevant for specific roles.
Your job is to justify the images you decide to include.
Please see below for an idea of the structure expected in your submission.

this order- it will be down to

structure.
• **note however that you will
all have to consider all
aspects of the business in
order to produce a fully
fleshed out report pertaining
to your role as all functions
are inter-linked and impact
on your individual role.
You should put a heading on each area:
• An analysis surrounding your business’s route to market focused
around your individual business role responsibility. This may include
your business relationships (Internal key stakeholders and your
relationship to them).
• An analysis surrounding your individual business responsibility,
looking at the company’s internal and external environment (macro
and micro factors). This should be from academic and business
sources, including academic journals / case studies / reports / Mintel /
Verdict / Drapers etc, as well as any relevant academic literature.
Remember what you have learned so far and check the reading lists
as a starting point.
• Analysis & presentation of appropriate primary and secondary
research findings. You must use this to justify your recommendations
which should flow from your research findings. E.g. interviews,
surveys, store audits etc. Structure is important: use sub-headings to
sign-post. Enhance using visual material e.g. tables, charts and
graphs to represent relevant data if they aid understanding your
argument.
