Create a folder inside Documents folder entitled MSWordLabs
Create a Blank document
Save the file as WordLabOne.docx in Documents > MSWordLabs folder
Close WordLabOne.docx; reopen it
Turn Formatting Marks on: Screenshot 2014-12-29 15.26.28
Click on the first line at the top of the page (The first paragraph mark)Screenshot 2014-12-29 15.26.28, then press enter four times; this will create four paragraph marks
Delete two paragraph marks using the Backspace key on the keyboard
Use the Up Arrow key to move the insertion point to the first line
Press the Delete key until you remove all paragraph marks except the first mark
Enter Today’s Date in this format (Month DD, YYYY)
Press enter once, then type your First name and Last name
Position the insertion point at the beginning of the first line, then press Tab nine times
Position the insertion point at the beginning of the second line, then press Tab nine times
Press End key to position the insertion point at the end of the second line
Press Enter, then press the Backspace key until you position the insertion point at the beginning of the new line
Type the name of your college
Press Enter twice, then type My Goals: and make it Bold
Press Enter, then remove the Bold format
