500-600 word discussion

As you probably already know, the United States has the deepest and broadest financial markets in the world.  In consideration of what you’ve read in module 7 readings (attached), what purposes do the financial markets serve? Put special emphasis on the stock market, bond market, loanable funds market, money market, etc.

In your discussion, briefly define the differences between all of the different types of securities traded in the marketplace.  Also, make sure that you elaborate upon the roles specific types of markets serve – e.g., the market for private equity, the bond market, international markets, etc.
