By using the question above you should write an essay that is total. You should talk in your essay answering the above question. You can talk in person if you wish. Please make sure to include apa citations and the end and also include in text citations if you provide any facts or specifics or else that will be considered plagiarism and there must be NO PLAGIARISM!! Lastly you should include in your essay an example in your life, or the media, or film, etc. – a real concrete example to illustrate your reflection. Make sure to include websites or information to cite this example and make sure to use at least 2 strong examples to back up your answer. This is worth a lot of my grade so I need to make sure it is a very good essay so please make sure to add lots of details and strong arguments. I would argue that defacement of colonial statues is an effective way for artists to engage the public so maybe base your argument off that. Since this is a social justice art course, you can use artists in it for examples and you can also include movement that have taken place in Canada. Include things that relate to Indigenous people and their community to make your argument stronger especially related to truth and reconciliation.
