My original article’s argument was that you need to do both online and offline dating to be effective in today’s society of dating. After reading the additional resources for my topic I saw that there were opposing arguments. That opposing side was that online dating is creating more problems than it is solving. My premises are that online dating creates less lasting relationships and has made our culture even more dependent on technology for our interpersonal connections. My conclusion is that people should try their hardest to date in more offline ways for longer, steadier relationships. I believe that the second argument is stronger. It has more support from different sources, and it has the data to back it up more than the first conclusion. I also feel that it has scholarly research along with some opinion writing, and the first only has opinion to back it up.
