Forgiveness can be an integral part of conflict resolution and even a strong factor in psychological and physical health. Some philosophers state that forgiveness is a gift to the person doing the forgiving, not necessarily for the forgiven. In this paper you will explore the power of forgiveness and its potential role in conflict resolution.

In your paper,
Analyze the general role of forgiveness in conflict resolution using the text and one of the other scholarly articles listed above.
Explain the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation and the role communication plays in each.

Describe an example to illustrate the differences between the two concepts.
