She Codes 2024
Background
“She Codes 2024,” an event hosted by the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Norah bint
Abdulrahman University, which is scheduled for 12th and 13th of May 2024.
The primary objective of this event is to celebrate and empower women in technology, with a special focus on
supporting and showcasing student graduation projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At “She Codes 2024,”
they provide a platform for aspiring female tech talents to present their graduation projects, receive mentorship,
and connect with industry professionals.
They hosted their first “She Codes 2022” event on 13th Oct 2022 which featured the participation of different
companies and government entities. She Codes 2022 received over 260 students’ participation from 18 Universities
across the kingdom.

● Showcase our company’s unique offerings, values, and career advancement opportunities.
● Network with other industry professionals and potential collaborators.

Application Conditions
1. The submitted project must be one of the graduation projects for female students in the Bachelor’s level in computer science
colleges at one of the universities in the Kingdom.
2. The submitted graduation project for the competition must be part of the courses of the academic year 1444 AH or 1445 AH.
3. Fulfilling all application requirements as outlined in the procedural guide, including the scientific poster.
4. Attendance of a representative for the female students submitting the project.
5. The project’s topic must be directly related to the fields specified in the procedural guide.
6. The project must not violate intellectual property rights.
Objectives of the Event
1. Creating a competitive environment among Saudi university female students to enhance outputs in computer and
technology specialties and to support efforts aimed at empowering Saudi women in technical fields in accordance with
Vision 2030.
2. Exchanging experiences among female students from various universities in the Kingdom and benefiting from each other’s
experiences by presenting creative graduation projects and innovations in computer and technology specialties.
3. Supporting directing graduation project ideas to solve real problems related to the job market, societal issues, and its trends
using creative solutions based on the latest advances in computer science and information technology.
4. Connecting graduating female students with the job market, recruitment agencies, and business incubators and accelerators
by showcasing graduation projects and innovative creations of female students.
5. Strengthening the relationship between universities and employers through participation in scientific events that support
building constructive partnerships between universities and the job market.
6. Establishing a culture of teamwork and supporting competitiveness, innovation, and excellence among female students.
7. Enhancing the culture of scientific research and innovation among female students.
Competition Prizes
The first-place winner of the best scientific project will receive 15,000 Saudi riyals, the second-place winner will receive 10,000
riyals, and the third-place winner will receive 5,000 riyals.
For the best scientific poster awards, each winning poster will receive 2,000 riyals, with a total of 10 winning posters.
