• In general around 2500 words, (-excluding appendix and
references, tables and figures – ) is the typical length of the report
you need to submit. You may exceed this limit ( generally by around
20%) if you think such extension is appropriate and justified
• If you are exceeding the word count , put some of the report
contents in appendix section or in tables as these do not count in
word counts
• Make sure that the contents and sentencing of your report is
different than your group members
You have been recently appointed as a chief financial consultant ( CFO ) to analyse and evaluate the company’s financial strategy
in relation to its corporate environment & strategy.
You are asked to write a report which should include identification of the key financial issues the company is facing and your
recommendations to address these issues .
You are also asked to give a max 25 minute presentation on these financial issues and on your recommendations
Your Company analysis , evaluation and recommendations should focus on the following (relevant ) areas of finance :

• Raising & Sources of Finance
• Capital Structure
• Working Capital Management
• Strategic Capital Investments
• Dividend Policy & Share buy back
• Risk Management
• Current Financial Performance & Future Objectives
Your answers must also include discussions on the degree of match and mismatch between and among various components of
corporate/ business/ financial strategies of the company of your choice
