Your team will need to select a company for which it will write an international
marketing report. The objective of the assignment is to present a report detailing:
1. Reasons why you believe your chosen company should enter new foreign
countries;
2. Your market screening procedures and ultimate choice of foreign country to
concentrate upon;
3. Fully justified foreign market entry strategy for the chosen country;
4. Fully justified international product and promotion decisions for the chosen
country.
The report will be prepared and written in groups of 3-4 students and will be submitted for
marking in Week 10 (deadline: Tuesday 5th May 2019 at 3.00pm; just one report per
group of students – not one per student). You will have the opportunity to form your own
group. For that purpose, you need to send an email to the module leader
([email protected]) with your group’s composition by the 6th of March. Students that
have not found a group to be part of by the deadline (6th of March) will be allocated to a
group by the module leader.
Before you decide on a company, read the report guide carefully to understand exactly
what is expected of you (this report guide will be made available in the first lecture). All
members of each group are expected to contribute equally to this report.
The maximum length of the international marketing report is 2,000 words, 1inch margins
all around, double-spaced, font size 12, Arial (excluding title page, table of contents,
tables, graphs, appendices, and list of references) for the main body of the text.
Appendices and references are limited to 7 pages. No work is marked in the appendices
and important analysis must be in the main body of the report to be marked.

submission date).
