– In your answer, you must utilise at least 5 refereed academic journal papers. Beyond this requirement,
non-academic sources (e.g. business ‘white papers’ and professional journal articles) as well as other
academic sources (e.g. research monographs) are permitted.
– Please do not quote directly from/reference the module PPT slides (except cases and diagrams, which you
are encouraged to use) and avoid using Wikipedia, Investopedia, etc.
Essay guidance:
– This assessment relates to part 2 of the module (plus the link session, 4). Part 1 was assessed in the group
assessment.
– Assessment criteria: Essay addressed the essay task; quality of essay structure and argument; use of
evidence; use of the literature.
– While I definitely encourage you to use case examples from within the module material, try to supplement
these with some found from your own efforts. You can use one or more case firms.
– Cases and diagrams taken from the module material should be referenced as follows:
