Introduction (800-1000 words max):
Provide a broad macro overview/summary of your industry/sector (identify the
internalisation, technological innovation, sustainability contemporary issues within your
industry) e.g. PESTLE analysis
Select one of the contemporary issues (internalisation, technological innovation,
sustainability) as the focus of your report … justify its selection as the focus (aka rationale)
Identify your Research Question (RQ) … focus of the study should be on the identified
contemporary issue
Identify and explain how the research (into the issue) was conducted (aka methodology:
‘scoping review’ of ‘high quality’ research)
Findings (aka results) (800-1000 words max):
What did the ‘scoping review’ reveal (focus on the above selected issue)?
Demonstrate an understanding of the dynamic and changing business world e.g. local,
national and international levels
Recommendations (800-1000 words max):
Based upon the above findings (results) … what are the implications … recommendations for
your business context (focus on the same issue identified)
Suggest how the selected issue could be addressed/improved (should be specific, achievable
and measurable)
Reflective discussion (400-500 words max):
Based upon the use of a theoretical model (e.g. Kolb, Gibbs etc.) what were the
challenges/achievements experienced during this module (personally, academically and
professionally)?
